2. 4PM Chaise
Design by: Chris Martin for Massproductions
A chaise longue may not be an essential item on your furniture list, but if you can invest, it can certainly enrich your everyday life with a touch of luxury. When we talk about investment, we are not only mentioning the financial aspect, but also the space needed to accommodate this elegant piece, since a chaise longue occupies a special area in relation to its function. This is probably the reason why we don’t see it as often in our homes.
However, after having faced two years of requests, the time has come to slow down and allow ourselves some comfort and rest. A chaise longue offers just that – a perfect retreat to relax and recharge.
To make this experience even more accessible, we decided to release an open source version of our sun lounger. Available to anyone who wants to build their own technology using locally sourced materials, this initiative aims to promote creativity and sustainability.

Attention to detail in the design makes it a standout piece in any space.

6. FLY Chair
Design by: Tiago Curioni for Doimo Brasil
Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s studies of human anatomy, the Fly chair is a creation of Tiago Curioni, produced by Doimo Brasil. With a metallic skeleton and cushions that intricately echo the body’s musculature, the Fly chair mirrors human skin on its surface. It offers a diverse range of colors and a meticulously handcrafted touch that harkens back to haute couture craftsmanship. The Fly is made up of three separate but integrated parts, forming a distinct three-legged chair. This design subtly incorporates references to human anatomy, including invisible ones. The commitment to ergonomics is evident, following the natural curvature of the spine to provide comfort and ensure correct posture in daily use. With its innovative design and focus on comfort and aesthetics, the Fly chair stands out as a unique piece, ideal for those looking for sophistication and functionality in their environments.
7. Mandacaru Line
Design by: Kleber Alves for Desygn Móveis Jardim
The inspiration for the Mandacaru line comes from the story of the invasion of the bandit Lampião in Mossoró, in 1927. The grandmother of designer Kleber Alves Fortes was called in to sew bags that would be used to store bullets by the city’s defenders. After Lampião’s defeat, Mossoró became a cultural symbol of resistance. Kleber Alves Fortes drew an analogy between the resilience of Brazil’s northeastern people and the Cereus Jamacaru (mandacaru) plant. This cactus, a long-lasting, adaptable and beautiful symbol of northeastern Brazilian culture, inspired the design of the products in the Mandacaru line. The collection reflects the strength and beauty of the Northeast, bringing elements that refer to the history and culture of this region, celebrating its resistance and adaptability. Each piece of the Mandacaru line is a tribute to the tradition and perseverance of the people of the Northeast, translated into an elegant and functional design.
